12.7 mm x 15 mm hole in copper

Hi folks,
After a few fails, I finally succeeded in milling copper. Here is a video of my mpcnc with 1/4 inch 4 flute end mill taking 0.5 mm deep cuts of a 1/2 inch hole. I think I was running 7 mm/min.

Let’s try this imgr link

Well, the video doesn’t seem to work. Ggrrr anyway, I am very happy with this result!

The video worked for me. Is that trochordial milling?

This is where I show my ignorance, I think so. I told estlcam to make a 1/2 inch hole with a 1/4 inch bit. The tool path looks like a letter e.

I look forward to showing everyone the finished product, but that will not be until it is in the clients hand.
