IDK how you find these patterns. They don’t look like much from the preview, but they are awesome in sand.

I spend entirely too much time at it…

I like using the track function, with very large values for the length. It creates a lot of interesting modulation of the lines of the patterns. I only recently discovered the fish-eye effect. I’ll be using that and some of the other effects in a bunch of patterns, soon.

I like using the heart as a starting shape- I think it’s the only one that has concave and convex curves. When you use the track function on it the effect is especially good. Can we get more shapes that have both concave and convex curves?

Do you have any suggestions? I don’t mind coding up new shapes.

I think something like this:

Objects like this that have convex and concave curves will look especially interesting, I think.
It could be multiple lobes, maybe specifying number of lobes, diameters, and spacing between them which will define the circular, concave curves that are tangent and connect them…
