3D printing Nozzle size calculator

Morning Everyone!

I have been looking for information on how to set up prints with a .5mm nozzle. I found this calculator online and thought that it might be of help for everyone.

Following this set up in slicer, is there anything else I need to change like marlin etc?

Vicious, could you compare to your settings for .5mm printing and see if it looks good? I have been using your .4 and they have been working great!

I’ll change the nozzle of course!

see ya,

All you need to do in Slic3r is change the nozzle size to 0.5mm and then make the layer height a bit taller, like .38mm. That’s it the slicer does the rest. Changing anything else is on a per part basis.
