I’ve been using artcam pretty successfully by saving tool paths as hanter.nc’s but it’s kind of wonky with the speeds. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can design in artcam and somehow generate the tool paths to work with marlin?
I've been looking for weeks for advise on artcam and right after I posted this I found a post processor for artcam specifically for marlin. I haven't tried it just yet but now I have hope, at least we can tweak the .con file if needed.
That pp doesn’t able to change tools
Guffy, I get around this problem by creating separate gcode files for each toolpath. Once one completes it moves back to x0 y0. I change my tool and zero z and reset my board. Then I load the new gcode and start carving.
i try it on artcam premium 2018 and it do not work any advice ?
