Axis random stopping

Hi,

I have just started testing the MPCNC and will run smoothly, but every time, one of the axis will randomly stop working and then start again which means that it will be in the wrong place when the axis starts up again. I have changed the power supply, the arduino, the stepper motors, insulated the wires, run it from the full graphic lcd and my mac with repetier and tried running it with no load. It seems to stop working in the same place each time but I don’t think it is a slicing issue because i have used many different slicers and different test mills. The axis which stops working can also vary and if you let it run it will do the same thing again in a different place. When running on mac it can list “unknown command”.
Any ideas gratefully received.

Did you set the current on your drivers? Sounds like they might be overheating.

If you have please answer these.

These things should all be included in your post. It makes it much faster to diagnose problems.

    b)What firmware?

  2. Are you using end stops?
    a)If so please disconnect them.

  3. Are you using all my recommended parts?
    a) If not please list what parts you used.
