Building the "Repeat" printer

You’re the man Dan! Ill get to ordering this stuff ordered now so I can keep the build moving along

I have some I need to put them up ASAP. I had plans to get some of that done yesterday but ended up taking a day off to go get muddy. HOpe to get this mostly wrapped up this week,

Dan, on your calculation for the belt, did you acount for the 3 Z axis? I though I used almost 3 wraps around the printer counting the Z

Good catch. I forgot that, because I used leftover belt from my LowRider for that.

So 4X + 4Y + 6Z for belt.

Yes I did the same, ordered just what I needed and used leftover from the LR

So maybe I should work on the BOM and Calc before I worry about the build instructions?

I can probably work in the belt length into the CAD. Although open-ended belts tend to be difficult, especially with a moving Assembly.

Did I miss anything so far, Current Version - V1 Engineering Documentation?

Whoops…wheels.

Carbon fiber square tube and M5 Lock nuts?

Toothed idler count is wrong. Says 6, you need 9 (3 for the Z axis)

MGN12H linears

Optional printed part for 5105 fan part cooler?

I used mgn12H

C is 21mm screw spacing and H is 31, I thought. 31 won’t fit.

first link I could find, MGN12C MGN12H slider Carriage + linear rail for 3D printer X Y Z Axis | eBay

added Power supply

Here is a spec sheet I found. motioncontrolsystems.hiwin.us/Asset/MG-Series-Catalog.pdf
On Page 8

Page 80, 12C=21.7mm, right?
12H=32.4mm

Right, look at C Dimension.
12C- 15mm
12H- 20mm
