Hello everyone, I’m new here and have just built a 49x104 working size table. While I was able to get the machine to surface the bed to 48x96 I can’t get it to engrave a 48x96 box. It moves to y 2438 drops my z then Humm’s. Am I moving past firmware table size limits?
I am trying to create a 49x97 pocket for spoil board to sit in.
I built the machine from v1 kit, using estlcam to create my gcode. Loading it from sdcard.

There shouldn’t be a firmware limit, and especially if you could surface the whole area it conclusively eliminates that.
The most likely problem from what you have described is an error in the feedrates being crazy high. Can you share more of your configuration?
I’ll have to get the gcode up when I go in. The feeds were the same for both files. albeit high by some standards, 35mm/sec.
I think it might have been a bad sd card. Windows said there were errors and wanted to fix it. I’ll buy new cards today.
