coatings on emt?

Has anyone used Glidecoat, pastewax, or similar on the EMT?
My EMT has a “line” of dust where the bearing is compressing dust.

Lubing the conduit shouldn’t be needed. The dust will settle there anyway. Just blow it off every now and then.

ya ive put thousands of hrs now on mine and not needed.

Maybe we should mount little brushes on the carriages to sweep off the top of the conduit as it passes by.

I’ll grab the wife’s toothbrush and test…

The only problem with coating the rails is that once dust lands on it, it will stick to the coating and then transfer to the bearings. Gumming everything up. Don’t ask how I know.
