Stumbled across this today:
Which involves wiring up a microscope to an GRBL table and generating a dxf file with a series of points.
Seems relatively simple to retrofit to a MPCNC for part replication. Maybe figure out a way to tie it to @jamiek 's octoprint line tracer:

This is very much prototype/alpha level of quality, which means the odds of success are nonzero, but beyond that, no guarantees. This hasn’t been published yet; I just got it working for the first time.

I just watched that video, The other day i was wondering about getting a bike key made, I may have to try this. My motorcycle is a 2001 zrx. All i have are the original keys, (22, or 23 years old)
