I’m trying to build my own MPCNC. I’ve printed parts and assembled the mechanics. Now I’m trying to choose electronics.
And here I have a problem. In Internet RAMPS boards are used mostly to control 3D printers. But I want to use my MPCNC for paper cutting and later 3d milling.
RAMPS is very interesting because there is a SD card reader for it so I hope I’ll be able to do cutting without computer.
Is there any software for RAMPS board to generate g-codes for 3d-milling and 2d-cutting? What control board should I buy for that?
Ramps does it all very well.
