Dewalt DW660 different from MPCNC - Burly

I picked up the MPCNC printed parts kit, with a DW660 Burley mount.

However, it appears that my DW660 has ridges that do not match the mount. Is this normal, or is something wrong with my brain?

I can mod it if I have to, but I was hoping that someone could give me an idea of where I’m wrong.

Thanks.

How do you have the router oriented? If you’re facing the tool mount head-on, the on/off switch should be on the left, the power cord exiting the router body from the right, and the DeWalt label to the front.

I just mounted my 660 this AM, it has those same two ridges and I know the mount works.

If you notice the mount is keyed to fit the slots in the nose of the DW660 – i.e. it will only fit on the mount 2 ways. The mount would go on either the left or right side of the small slot you have visible in your picture.

Rotate the router ~90°

yea that

Yea, I saw that. However, the nut/bolt combo sits right above the button for the spindle lock. Thought that should be in the front.

Got it assembled. Now to figure out the end-stops.
