I bought the full kit from V1 to keep supporting this awesome crew. I understand it came with the series wiring kit. Should I order the other 5 wire individual kit for setting up dual end stops or try cutting up current wires and make it work? I have a 4’ x 2’ cutting area set up so plenty of extra slack to mess with but not sure if it’s worth it. Let me know if my question isn’t clear and I’m not making any sense. My board is an MKS Base V1.6
It depends on how comfortable you are with crimping the connectors on. It’s a heck of a lot easier to just buy them premade, and they’ll be plenty long for your build. If you make them yourself, however, you can make them just the right length and get cleaner wiring.
I would not change to dual endstops unless you have a reason to. Series and no endstops can take you a very long way.
