E3D Hemera

My only reason for looking in to a new hotend/extruder is due to my current one not handling hotter materials or soft materials well. I have an older MK8. It’s awesome on PLA but everything else hasn’t worked well.

Ive been running a Hemera on a modified V-Core corexy for a couple of months now. Been printing PETG pretty much 24/7 and I must say, it’s been working flawlessly, and gives great prints.

I’m trying TPU tomorrow, so we’ll see how it goes with flexibles.

Oooh. Please let me know how it works out for you. I think one of these is going to end up on a wish list.

Were you mounting the Hemera on the MP3DP? Do you like the Hemera? Could you please share your model for the mount? I have not seen a Hemera/MP3DP mount. Thank you.

Same mount, Most direct drives fit as is. I have a Titan and Hemra on my printers.

It is on my first printer, a wanhao duplicator i3. It works great.

The belt strap that Ryan uses would work well on the MP3DP, AFAIK.
