ich bin ein absoluter Neuling in dieser Sache und baue mir gerade eine Primo auf. Es hat bis jetzt alles gut funktioniert und ich bin bis jetzt Happy. Aber mit den Endschalter fehlt mir der Durchblick. Wenn ich die Bilder bei V1 oder PrusaPrinters ansehe, so sehe ich die Endstops nur für eine Richtung montiert. Wie wird die andere Richtung gesichert? Bekommt die Z-Achse keine Endschalter?
Ich habe auch im Netz keine Erklährung dazu gefunden. Es scheit überhaupt eine Frage zu sein “Endschalter ja oder nein”. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir hier weiterhelfen.

First, the primary purpose of limit switches is to make sure the machine is square…to make sure that that both ends of each axis start the same distance from the end of the tubing so that there is not distortion in cutting. A second benefit is to provide a global home position if doing repeated cuts. Both of these things can be accomplished without limit switches by providing a physical stop for both ends of each axis that can be pushed against before powering up the machine.
There are two versions of the firmware for most machines. One version that expects each stepper to be wired to a different driver on the control board (5 total) and provides for X Y limit switches on both ends of the minimum position of each axis, and a second version of the firmware that runs the steppers in a serial configuration using only 3 drivers and is not setup for dual limit switches. Note that the firmware expects limit switches to be wired normally closed.
For X and Y, the limit switches are setup on the minimum position of both ends of each axis. There are mounting holes on the trucks for the common limit switches.
For Z, most people just use the Z-min plug on the control board to connect a touch plate. This allows the setting of the home of the tip of the bit relative to the stock or to the spoil board.
Note that unlike a 3D printer, mostly CNC cutting is done relative to the stock, and knowing that position relative to a global position has little value.

Jetzt bin ich ein wenig schlauer. Ich dachte die ganze Zeit, die Endschalter sind zur Absicherung der Min und Max Positionen. Jetzt ergeben auch die Bilder für mich einen Sinn.
Wenn es richtig verstanden habe, kann ich solange ich Arduino UNO und CNC Shield verwende auf Endschalter verzichten.
