I’m looking at trying to make a ZenXY V2 (when it’s released) and also was following the post about adding a RPI to make an “Etch-a-Sketch” style control with rotary encoders.
It got me thinking about an eraser function with the system, other than running the ball over the whole surface. It occurred to me that a vibrating motor under the surface would knock down the ridges and smooth the surface somewhat.
Has anyone tried that? Is the glass or plastic sand surface compliant enough for something like this to work?
