Tried to do a test print today but keep getting the following error. I don’t have a heated bed as i thought for pla you don’t need it. do I need to adjust something in the firmware and re flash it?

Check the connection on your thermistor. It’s either not plugged in, not mounted properly on the printer or faulty. MINTEMP means that the board is not registering any temperature
Yes you need to enable the thermistor in the firmware, the firmware for your board labeled with EB is for printing.

The firmware is set from my mk8’s if you are using something else you will need to correct the thermistor value.
The error says it is the heat bed that’s not getting warm enough. You will have to disable the heat bed in the firmware in order to get it to work.
