Estlcam Circles

Hello,

I’m running Estlcam 11.235_b_32 with an MKS DLC V2.0 with firmware 1.1. For some reason I can’t cut circles. All it does it cut lemons.

Has anyone experienced this with Estlcam? I’m importing the gcode into OpenBuilds Control.

Before I started having trouble I was able to cut this:

It stopped cutting out the perimeter with an error:

Thanks,

Those “lemons” look like a mechanical issue.

They’re fairly consistent, which is kind of strange.

I don’t use GRBL, so the gcode looks a little different from what I’m used to, but I think I can figure it out. 47.3 steps/mm though seems weird.

I would suggest try un-checking the “Use G02 / G03” parameter in your Estlcam CNC program settings and see if that does better.

That looks like backlash. Have you checked the grub screws on the pulleys? They can get loose and then slide across the flats of the motor shafts.

Or check that both motors are working. If you only have one, it can move the other, but each time it changes directions, it will lag a bit (which turns circles into lemons not suitable for lemonade).
