So I’m trying to set up a trochoidal cut but it seems to only register a portion of the area that needs cutting. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong
Rotate the gcode diagram (up arrow) so you can get a 3d view and see what the code is doing at those places, then run the preview (play arrow). Are those dark areas not tabs? You can see the bottom one is the start of the downcut and the cutter moves in a back and forth movement while penetrating the material.
I think it’s actually exactly what I want and I just didn’t realize that’s what it looks like. I was thinking the footprint of the trochoidal movement (the blue lines) prepresented the entire cutting area but it’s actually just the movement from the center of the bit.
