Etslcam print complete BUT does not run the cnc

HI total new to this. I have been able to get the crown to draw np. I have also done a couple of mazes. I just tried to do another file “american flag” it was a dxf file for CNC. I did my normal process in etslcam (same i did for the crown and the mazes) and saved the cnc file.

Started up repeater, loaded the gcode “CNC file” from estlcam and clicked print and started it. Repeater Host processes the gcode and then in a very short period of time just says completed. It does not try to move the gantry at all.

I just printed the crown again (as a test ) and NO issues. I think it is probably something I do not understand about processing a true cnc file to have the MPCNC draw it.

Thanks for the help.

Silly question but are there actually toolpaths defined after you open it in Estlcam.

What does the preview in Estlcam show?

Sharing the gcode file or a screenshot of the machine preview would help us looks for errors.

I think i figured it out. I needed to lock the object under print. That seemed to do it. Or I got lucky. Lol
