I’m troubleshooting the skip/missing filament in my prints. Have watched the gear turning, and have noticed that the skips occur when the gear is not turning. Was wondering if my cable extension wiring job did not work, so I’m about to rebuild it. At the same time I was going to add some LED’s so I can see when that motor is getting voltage command.
It’s a standard stepper 2 pairs of coils. You can get the coils by feel or multimeter. The ramps board is in order pair 1 ab pair 2 cd. You might want to tackle 1 issue at a time.
