Finished my exhaust clamps after waiting 2 months for a simple tool

Have 2 of the 4 made. Happy with how these turned out.

Dry milling or are you spraying some WD-40 on there occasionally?

Dry.

Is that 1/4 inch single flute?

For this particular job yes.

Love it. That thing looks like a track monster. Mind sharing some more details on her?

Does a bolt go through the aluminum bushing? Just curious why the aluminum bushing vs pushing the rubber grommet onto a post like a lot of exhaust hangers?

Either way, that looks great and you are giving me some encouragement to get my MPCNC dialed in so I can make cool parts for my car!

Yes, the idea is to use a bolt for this application.

Haven’t run the car yet, still building. 5.3 chevy LS with twin 3071 Garrett’s.

LS everything! I have a 2nd Gen camaro that I would love to put an LS into, but budget is usually the problem. I don’t think a pair of 3071’s are in the cards either but that sounds awesome.

What are you going to do with it when its done?

That looks like a lot of fun, though several runs looked like they were scrubbing off too much speed with those drifts. I did some track racing back when I was younger (say, in the late 1970s) but that was on a small motorcycle, which is quite the different experience.

Some installed pics.

Did you work the bevel into the tool path or was that done by hand?
