First attempt Threaded Insert Wasteboard for CNC - Fusion 360

My first import of a F360 DXF file transferred over in what seems to be out of scale, and only 1 insert out of 30 insert holes copied. Any advice would be welcome !

  1. Did you design it in mm?
  2. Did you export it in mm?
  3. Did you select mm when you imported it?
  4. Were all of the holes in the same sketch, and were they all closed geometry?

If you would like to send me the dxf, I can look at it and see if there is anything I can find wrong.

I’ve had trouble when I import dxfs into etslcam that had components grouped together. I just save a good copy, ungroup everything, and then export it again. I was using librecad at the time.

Design is supposed to look like this:

Right click on the face of the design and create a new sketch. Then export that sketch as your DXF. I’m betting the sketch2 only has the single hole on it prior to you creating the grid.

I did get multiple holes creating a sketch on the design.
