Hardware done - software advices

Hello from France,

I just finished building my MPCNC, and I will use an Arduino Mega + RAMPS 1.4 for electronics, so I will use Marlin.

There is only one thing I don’t understand, how I am supposed to control two motors for one axis?

Did I just need to connect two motors (of the same axis) to one stepper driver output? Or it is a little more complicated?

I have enough drivers to use one driver for each motor, but I don’t know in this case how to setup marlin.

Ryan has some information on how to wire the steppers on the MPCNC Stepper Electronics page. Essentially, the two stepper motors for an axis will get wired in series. Take a look at Ryan’s page and if something is quite clear, ask away and we’ll try to help.
