having an error while trying to install marlin firmware

  1. Did you buy everything from here?
everything was initially purchased from here. however, upon plugging in the mega for this first time, I heard a small pop and looked over to find that my mega was releasing blue smoke. I ordered a mega off of amazon and substituted it for the broken one.
    b)What firmware?
    as of yet? none.
  2. Are you using end stops?
    none yet. yet.
  3. Are you using all my recommended parts?
you sent almost all of them to me so… yeah.

I am trying to flash the marlin firmware onto the substitute arduino but am having problems compiling. the following is the error I receive:

“Show verbose output during compilation”
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

any help is appreciated. thank you so much.

Download arduino 1.6.5 and try again.
