Everything is now built and looking pretty good. Bought what I think might be a Mini Rambo clone with a 2004A-v20 lcd panel.
Got it setup for testing and managed to control things through Repetier Host just fine but I cannot control anything from the LCD panel. I get the series of white blocks that i know others have seen and have tried editing the configuration.h file as suggested by Ryan and others but no luck. I tried flashing the latest Marlin firmware and now I get a red led lighting up on the Mini Rambo which goes off temporarily when I press the reset button on the LCD panel. I can’t find what the red led signifies.
Any thoughts anyone on what I should try next?
You have to remove the custom boot screen file, comment out the custom boot screen, comment out the current LCD, and uncomment the other reprap discount lcd
