Thanks for the picture. Any reason the 3d printed part for the belt holder could not include a hard stop for the wheel?
That is how I do it. The Z rail hits the belt stop, to really square the machine I use layers of tape on the belt stop to shim it as perfect as I can get it.
Oh, didnāt think about it the railsā¦ I was focusing on the wheels. That makes sense.
Hey, Iām bit off topic here, Iām thinking about lr2 and Iām wondering how to change the spoil board after it becomes damaged? Do you have to take the machine off the table or is there a way around?
I plan on using two boardsā¦ a 1/2 inch mdf as the top of the frame with a 1/2 inch foam insulation board as a spoilboard.
Foam is an awesome spoil board, just be sure not to clamp to hard or you will bow and indent it.
On the Maslow, I just screwed it down at the cornersā¦on the lowrider I was thinking of corner blocks to hold it in place assuming it just needs to not shift (i.e., wonāt have a problem lifting up)
Lath screws in the corners work great for this.
