How is X-Axis Position Maintained

Thanks for the picture. Any reason the 3d printed part for the belt holder could not include a hard stop for the wheel?

That is how I do it. The Z rail hits the belt stop, to really square the machine I use layers of tape on the belt stop to shim it as perfect as I can get it.

Oh, didnā€™t think about it the railsā€¦ I was focusing on the wheels. That makes sense.

Hey, Iā€™m bit off topic here, Iā€™m thinking about lr2 and Iā€™m wondering how to change the spoil board after it becomes damaged? Do you have to take the machine off the table or is there a way around?

I plan on using two boardsā€¦ a 1/2 inch mdf as the top of the frame with a 1/2 inch foam insulation board as a spoilboard.

Foam is an awesome spoil board, just be sure not to clamp to hard or you will bow and indent it.

On the Maslow, I just screwed it down at the cornersā€¦on the lowrider I was thinking of corner blocks to hold it in place assuming it just needs to not shift (i.e., wonā€™t have a problem lifting up)

Lath screws in the corners work great for this.
