Hi guys! Does any one have a comprehensive step by step video or list on how to bring an original mpcnc up to the latest and greatest current updates I see many post in all directions and would like to figure out how to set the stops the right way and calibrate the machine as best as possible for accuracy

Depends on what you currently have. The instructions are updated for the current parts. None are terribly different than previous versions just better. I have updated ever single part at least once, so you will have to look and see what parts you have vs what parts are current.
As for the dual endstop firmware it works on any version but it is very much an advanced feature and should be used on if you fully understand why and when you would use it. https://www.v1engineering.com/auto-square-dual-endstops/
