From start to finish in less than 24 hours, which surprised the heck out of me. And got it done 3 hours before it was gifted to someone!

MPCNC was only used for the laser, as it was a live edge piece, so no need for fancy cutting.

Might try to burn it a bit darker next time, as it doesn’t show up quite as much as I’d like. But it feels like the laser kinks are resolved for now. Knock on wood and all that…

Very nice, and a lovely piece of wood too. I rather like the understated look,
I have to slow right down to get small text like this (engraving), and even then there are no guarantees it’ll come out anything like this. I really should buy a laser and start that learning process…
