I was reading the FAQ and I noticed it didn’t recommend building a printer that is over 12in y’all. Is that because of stability issues with the Z axis? Does that only apply to the i3 style or also the MP CNC style?

The MP3DP is kinda set at it’s 200mm height, the size post is for the MPCNC. hanging more than 12" of pipe off the z axis is not going to lead to a printer that can move very fast. As I said in that post, people have done it but you really need to understand why you would want to.
