Twice now my CNC has stopped at a random time within a job. The screen is saying it has finished but it’s not complete
Have you checked that the whole file made it onto the sdcard? I had a problem where only some of it made it to the sd card.
Are you running from the sd card?
Yes, using an sd card. How do i know if it is all on there?
Just open it and look at the last few lines.
Compare the file size of the original and what’s on the card.
Could get crazy with it and look up how to do a checksum comparison.
Or do like Jeff said and open the file and look what commands are being done at the end. Most CAM software will put various ‘stop’ commands at the end.
