Middle assembly issues

I am having trouble with the final assembly steps. It appears that I have a part interference which is preventing me from lining up the last 3-1/2" bolt. I have taken several pictures of the assembly. I also notice that the relief on the bottom of the assembly does not match how the part attaches. The upper relief appears to match.

Any thoughts?

One of your top/bottom pieces is upside down. Make it so the part that touched the support material faces into the assembly for both parts.

Thanks Barry, I figured it was something stupid I did.

All assembled now.

I thought I read somewhere that people are not using the spring anymore. Is that the case or is it recommended to use it, just don’t crank the nut down to compress it a lot?

Thanks

Nope, doesn’t really need to be in there, just need the threaded rod joiner piece.
