i’m just trying to get started in relief carves, estlcam defaulted to 80 percent stepover, is that not too high for roughing with a .250 endmill? I had grabbed your storm trooper STL a while back, would love some other star wars STLs if you have them to share!
I keep mine under 50% regardless of the size of the cutter. You dont want to be climb and conventional cutting in the same pass if you can avoid it

yeah thats what I thought too, just thought it was odd estlcam defaulted to 80 so i changed it to 45
