Motor Whine with Rambo mini?

Hi All, just curious if motor whine is okay on the Rambo mini board? I am able to move it in the correct directions using repetier, haven’t tried anything else yet, just wanted to make sure everything at this point is okay. When I disable the steppers, the whine stops, so that’s good, right?

    Got all the electronics and hardware from V1

b)What board do you have? Rambo Mini

c)What firmware is on it or which did you buy it with? 1.3a

  1. Are you using end stops? No

Yep, you’re good. They’ll do that when they’re energized and holding position. I think they whine when they’re between steps or something like that.
