so the X and Y steppers on my MP3dp were getting really warm to the touch when printing anything of length.
Z felt fine.
I measured the voltage on the 8825 drivers and they were at .7 volts as expected.
I adjusted the X and Y drivers down to .630 (see the video under assembly if you don’t know how) and it seems to be printing very solid and the steppers run cool.
just in case someone else runs into a similar issue.
