Alright! A bit of a two month break there…
I live in Denver now! Love it here. Now that I’m all settled in, figured it was time to put the finishing touches on the MP3DP and get a first print going…
Benchy 1 was almost perfect- filament wasn’t feeding properly on my spool due to over tightening. Fixed in a PERFECT Benchy 2. Went straight on to print the Fallout Alien Blaster handle (I’m making a bunch for my dad’s play).
Immaculate. Breathtaking. Perfection. This came out better than my old $1400 Printrbot Metal Plus.
I did almost nothing to improve print quality after the initial build. Can’t speak highly enough of this build, the fun I had building and printing every component. Can’t beat the feeling of printing parts for a CNC, building a CNC, cutting parts for a printer, and building a printer from scratch. I’m just blown away.
