To me, this is what cnc excels at… Doing the same task 100 times.
This is also the first task I’ve used the F360 PP on in a while. I did adaptive milling with a 1/8" ball nose end mill.
It took me longer to lay out the cad than it did for the machine to cut it.
This was just a test board in mdf. I need to go get some hard wood for the final board. I want to make a nice one with drawers for the marbles and dice.
There is a version of that game with variable numbers of players. Instead of a monolithic board you do a portion of the side such that the fit together with a joint. You assemble four pieces to make your board, or five in a pentagon for five players, or six in a hexagon for six, or for that matter, three into a triangle for three players.
