Had a blast building this thing. 24"x18"x4" build area. Used ABS plastic over PLA and used a different take on the table. Its more of a platform that I can just pick up and set wherever. McMaster-Carr 1.5x1.5" Tslot was used for the frame and I slapped a .75" MDF board on top. The build area used MDF slats as the spoil board with Aluminum T Track in between for clamping. Its a pretty sturdy and flat surface so far. Just cost a few hundred more than 2x4"s unfortunately but it looks dope.
