I finally finished the frame parts for the MP3DP, in 12mm multiplex.
I see that many builds did paint their frame, has that any other reasons than esthetics?
For me it would look good enough like it is, eventually some teak oil, as I have still plenty around?
Teak oil would really make those parts nice! My opinion, Show off the wood!

Yeah, the grain is too pretty to paint it.

Some kibd of finish really helps. It drives faster, attracts women, and when you clean up after a failed print, it will promise to be better next time.
