Been playing around with my laser. I cut some 1/8" plywood with a DW660 on my MPCNC , switched it to the laser tool and engraved this photo into it.
There’s definitely still room for improvement, but I think it’s coming along nicely!
Your project looks pretty good to me. Heck yeah! It’s pretty fun right? A little precision milling and swap it out for laser etching. I had friends over the other day and I had to demo the laser for them, they didn’t believe it could cut and burn.
Pretty cool little project. What software did you use for the raster conversion to gcode?
