So I have two routers that I can get for free, and was wondering if either of them would work with my mpcnc. They are the Ridgid R2400 and the Ridgid R2900. They both have variable RPM settings, which I would prefer. The problem is that I think the R2400 will be underpowered, but am worried that the R2900 is too heavy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have the R2900, it’s going to be too heavy.
The r2400 is of similar power to the Dewalt DW660. Seems worth a try, the price is right.
