Primo 25mm!

And so it begins. I should have some time in August to upgrade my Burly, which I never got fully square, to a Primo.

Starting with the longest print, just to have it out of the way.

Congrats on getting started …

I never did get my burly square either!
And I also printed my core first. Like minds!!!

Good luck with that core print, once you get it done it pretty much clear sailing on the rest of it.

Thank you Ron! In the end the core took only 19 hours to print, no problems whatsoever.

You should fasten your heat block sock.

Kapton tape for the sock! Don’t use wire…

19hr, I started my core print Saturday mid morning and at 90% done. I think I will have 54hrs in the core print alone.

That is a long one :exploding_head:

I know what you 2 mean and I might eventually do it, but it has not been a problem after thousands of hours of printing.

Check, double check, triple check your printer for squareness before building the new parts. Specially the ‘preassembled’ devices deserve ultimate diligence. The best is to disassemble their mechanics at least to a rattling loose level and then put them together step by step again. Get good measuring tools before and use them.
