@kvcummins it took me about 7 months from “I’m going to build one” until now. The catalyst was I asked my brothers to buy me the SKR 1.4 and steppers for the build for Christmas.

I designed a “cage” mount for the NEJE 30W laser module that fits inside the makita router mount for easy swaps:

Printed out of PETG, I’ll see how well it does and if it lasts a 30min session without any warping I’ll post the stl to thingiverse.

Hey, that’s cheating!
You can’t make things easy, you have to struggle with swapping tools like the rest of us.
