Primo build - should Core Z Clamps have play in them

I am on the Z Core section of the build and have inserted the clamp, bolts and bearing. The angles match. I am following the steps to slightly tighten each clamp up. However I get to a point where the bearing are touching and can slightly spin with fingers but I can rock the clamp a bit. I am guessing there should be no play on the clamp but just want to make sure before I continue tightening them down

I had a similar problem when first assembling my primo.

Did you print the parts yourself, or did you purchase them?

I printed them myself. I has since disassembled and reassembled and they have seated better

Even the tiniest rattling on the Z clamps will lead to chatter, which I had to learn the hard way. :smiley:
