Primo hardware vs Burly

Heyo team,

anyone have info on any additional hardware needs when transitioning to the Primo from the Burly build?

Will i need extra bolts, nuts, etc?

Also - has anyone attempted to anneal their PLA builds with a salt pack, or cast into plaster? seems like something we all may benefit from - especially those of use working with metal projects.

An easy way to see the hardware differences is to look at the items in the Primo upgrade kit in the store: https://shop.v1engineering.com/collections/parts/products/mpcnc-burly-to-primo-hardware-kit

In addition, to this hardware, Primo uses 10mm belts instead of the 6mm belts of the Burly.

I’ve watched a couple of videos and the technique looks promising, but even minor shrinkage or distortion can render parts unusable. In places tolerances are tight.
