Hey guys, I’m another member in Colorado Springs.

Hi, up here in Ft. Collins

Impressive build you’ve got there! The laser mount seems very nice, can I ask if you have a link for it?

Sure.
Step 1) You need a mount for a Makita RT0700. This one is the one in the photo Makita RT700 series (65mm) mount for the MPCNC Primo by Allted - Thingiverse. I’ve since switch to using the Burly backer plate and this one: MPCNC mounting bracket for Makita RT0700CX router by clockspring - Thingiverse as it is stiffer and doesn’t interfere with the dust shoe.

Step 2) The laser mount fits the same 65mm hole. I couldn’t find one so it’s my own design. It’s designed specificly for a 20w NEJE laser like this one https://www.amazon.com/NEJE-Engraving-Suitable-Machine-Arduino/dp/B088FGJBJ7

NEJE 20w Makita 65mm.zip (1.7 MB)

If that outing for beers ever happens, please put me on the list. Up in Weld County, outside of Johnstown. Home of a Primo, an almost complete LR and a Burley getting a laser rebuild.
