Printing TPU - Speeds question

Thanks! I’ll definitely try that.

TPU and TPE are a nightmare to get dialed in, but when you find the settings it prints nice.
Good luck!

Maybe too much heat is reaching past the heat break, and is making the extruder slip? You could try increasing the cooling on the extruder, reducing the temp after the first few layers, or printing faster. I am just guessing though, I have never printed TPU.

Sounds like maybe your hotend isn’t hot enough and it’s not melting fast enough to be pushed through the nozzle.

Never thought of that…definitely a possibility. I’m going to try the test suggestions above and see if I can dial in the speed and temp. Just tried a 210 deg 30mm/s run and got the same result as the slower runs (airprint after a couple mm and after pulling a few pigtail clogs after hearing the extruder clicking).

Do you have a new nozzle to try? That has fixed me more than once.
