Hey, I’m new to the CNC world and just finished my MPCNC build and am wiring up. I am about to connect the power source and am pretty green when it comes to wiring. Is there a specific wire type I should be using to create the connection from the power source as well as the jumpers? Wondering if I need to run to the hardware store or if I can steal some wire from elsewhere in the kit?

IIRC, I just cut off the barrel plug with enough wire to use as the jumpers.
Thanks. I do have a barrel plug adapter as shown in the photo. I figured since I have it, I should avoid cutting the barrel plug off. I’m just not well versed in wiring type nomenclature, and unsure of the type of wire to use to connect from the adapter and jumper.
Yeah, it looks like it’d be OK but somewhere in the instructions it says they’ve been known to be problematical and it’s a better deal to just wire the power supply directly to the board, and it provides a ready source of wire for the jumpers.
