Rambo 1.4 USB connection issues with Repetier

Hi! Finally got my mpcnc primo up and running tonight! Dual endstops.
I connected it through Repetier and verified the endstops and squared with M666.
I realized my Z was moving in the wrong direction, powered off, and switched the plug.

When I tried to reconnect, the lcd reboots, and the Repetier log gets filled with rubbish.
This has happen once or twice before, but was always resolved by disconnect everything and reconnect.
However, this time the issue is persistent.
Any thoughts on what could be the issue?
Thanks in advance!

That looks like the duplex/echo settings are wrong, and repetier is echoing Marlin’s responses back at it. That will vortex into garbage really fast…

Unfortunatly I didnt keep a log from from when everything worked alright to compare with.

If you are right, do you know if it is some kind of setting in repetier, or more likely a bug?

Or is it the board that is faulty?
Basically, can I make any conclusions?

My guess would be a setting in Repetier that got tickled for how it opens the serial port.

Think I tried everything, changed computer and sw.
Finally I disconnected every wire except power and usb. And then it worked!
Connected each cable and tried the connection between each one.
Now everything seems to work, but I will try it out more extensively during the weekend.
For now, it looks like it was a faulty wiring…

Hopefully my post can help others!

Still seems to be working!
Im closing the thread.

There’s also an “Commands” radio button in the “Show in Logs” line at the bottom of the RH screen to show the commands sent as well as the response received.
