Probably a really silly question but: I’m using this older version of Cura which I will likely replace with PrusSlicer but for the time being, I changed nothing I know of but when I try to load some files from a card just to see what they are, instead of just loading the model normally it runs thru a layer by layer visualization. I’m just trying to have a look at the files and for the life of me can’t find how to just load the model ‘normally’.
Is it possible you are used to loading .STL files, and you are now looking at .gcode files?

Oh well, lesson learned. Much like the CNC doing what I told it to do and not what I thought I told it to do, Cura gave me what I asked for and not what I thought I asked for.
