SKR 1.4 turbo, weird stepper motor jitter when idle

Yesterday I bench fit my BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo with 2209’s and 5 steppers.
I flashed the firmware on the BTT and the TFT.

However, I noticed that a couple of the steppers were basically vibrating as if they were between steps. (ZB and E0).

As I write this I realize I didn’t do the sensible thing and swap around the steppers to see if the problem follows the stepper…

However, is this an issue people have seen before? I’ve been told that the 2209’s are using UART so I shouldn’t have to adjust the voltage on the drivers, is that wrong?

As long as the firmware is properly communicating, the current is set by the firmware over uart.

Some noise or vibration is normal. I am not sure how to quantify it, but it may not be pleasant with loose motors on a desk.

Okay, that makes me feel a bit better. My 3D printer has a good old ramps board on it and it doesn’t exhibit that behavior so I thought something was aberrant.
